    Description

    A lot of six ca 1930 Japanese bisque porcelain dolls or figures with cold painted clothing and facial features. Three dolls are of similar size and origin and all are children holding a toy or doll or teddy bear; their backs are incised JAPAN. Two taller girls are marked Japan and have numbers incised on their backs. The larger sitting baby in a cap is from a different maker, probably Morimura Brothers. The back is incised Japan, the round MB symbol, and 37/31. They range in height from 2 3/4" to 3 1/2". All show some paint wear except the baby which is in almost excellent condition.
