    Description

Genuine card - no reproductions unless indicated in description.  Nice hand colored view of the "West Building and Library, Hollins College, Va."  Handwritten on back: "Dear Auntie and Eleanor, Am having a fine time here at college....Probably the most exciting thing is when a man, a real live man appears!  Sunday was quite a visiting day.  Almost a whole regiment paraded up and down the "campus."  It was a most unusual occurance when one of the opposite sex intrudes upon the solitudes of this school.  We nearly fall from "Dorm" windows in our efforts to get a glimpse of unknown creature!...Helen M. Crankshaw."  Unsent - Made by The Albertype Co. Hand-Colored. Good
Condition - see scan - corner wear.
